Beautiful product and fast shipping October 24, 2009 Patsy Phillips (Santa Fe, NM USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
A great purchase all around. The firepit arrived quickly and in perfect shape and was easy to assemble and operate. We used it at a recent camping-themed reception, and it provided a lovely decorative accent as well as some much-needed warmth on a cool October evening.
NICE PIT! March 7, 2010 Ronald E. Tremblay (Waterford, MI.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Where we are in FL.,wood fires are prohibited so we got permission for a gas log firepit. The Camp Chef Del Rio fit our needs. It is well constructed. We have received many positive responses from our neighboring campers. The ceramic logs greatly enhance the effect.
Nice addition July 3, 2010 Jodyh This firepit puts out a lot of heat and looks great on the patio.
I used a bottle of propane in about 8 hours of use with it turned
up to high. That cost about $10. I would recommend it as people tended
to sit around it for hours.
Firepit Fan July 29, 2010 Firepit Fan The firepit arrived exactly as advertised ... with lava rocks which work perfectly.
We are very happy with our purchase and have already used it and look forward to using it in cooler weather. The firepit is very presentable (it looks great!) and the heat it projects is exactly as expected.... sufficient for our needs. We made 'smors' and it was a lot of fun. It arrived days before the expected arrival date so that was a huge bonus for us. Its great to order a product over the internet and receive exactly what you wanted and expected!
Great fire pit January 8, 2010 Randy Aulick (Winter Haven, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We needed a fire pit which could set on a screened deck with a covering, so a wood-burning firepit wouldn't suffice. This gas unit is quite nice. It arrived guickly, was a breeze to get connected, and looks really nice in the area. It puts out a lot of heat which is adjustable with the valve on the inlet. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a built in pilot light or sparker for ignition, but a long grill lighter works just fine. We have now had a local gas company install large cyliners by the side of the house and run a line under the deck so the installation looks much cleaner and avoids having to worry about refilling the 20lb grill tanks.
Overall a really nice unit, at a reasonable price.
